Such a brutality, such a brutality, why should he not be fired, tried, jailed and compensate the sufferer. It could have been our parents too.
BTW, isn't there a minimum IQ required to be a Law Enforcement officer, how could you perform such an act in front of the cam. Mhhh.....

Have you ever seen the written entrance exam for becoming a Police officer? It's a joke. Literally!
For getting into services, the focus is on the physical strength rather than the mental and academic. Once you're in only then you're being provided the psychological training to deal with the public. However, when you're already refined to be a 'Muscle Man', and used this to get into the services, then it's hard for someone to change thereafter regardless of the academic training they receive. It's the power trip once you have a baton. Not applicable to all officers, but since the last few years, we have been seeing a few cases that I personally attribute to the above facts.

People are also not talking about the mentally developed grandchild that this grandfather has and that he had come also to take care of the child.

Please understand that it happened in Alabama. South will never improve and they are like that. I lived in south for couple of years during my stay in USA .Their general knowledge is very low. TV channels here showed the conversations and someone is telling that he is Indian. All in all, its lack of training and common sense.
Even after all this we would not say USA will be successful only as long as people there are not splintered on pavements by police brutalities. It is only an one off case.

This take down was Pure, Unadulterated Police Brutality. This country, United States of America, was born out of shoot first and ask questions later and they will always try their best to maim and kill, it does not matter what happens to whom and the LAW is on their side and after it hits the courts and Legal wrangling, they will not only acquit the Cop, it will reinstate him with all the back pay and Pension benefits. That is USA for me.
You got to have FOUR Eyes in your Head to live there.
And this is not the First Case on record.
