few obvious facts -Life quality will be low, air will be populated, adulterated milk, fabricated vegetables, heat where car ac will seek water and attitude of people might numb your senses at times. Ignore that and you will have eventful life. Have a ball !
an update for those planning to leave- I was informed by most shipping companies that after the if i want delivery (one bedroom apt) to my place of residence, I will have to pay 500 US dollars for transportation within the city. I checked with friends who are in export business and was informed that one can hire trucks for 4000 Indian rupees, approximately 75 US dollars.
Adding to the above discussion- organic food is easily available in India. Needles to say the food quality is better there- though chemicals are used in India as well, but it cannot be compared to North America -( Canada/US). Regarding milk I am enclosing a web link, which clearly shows how unhygienic milk is in Canada.

Yes there is a lot of pollution in India no doubt, the noise pollution gets to you for sure, but as one of our friends mentioned that one tends to travel in cars and really are not affected as much. Often times people talk about the quality of life... for those working in a 9-5 job, Canada is heaven, back home latest by 6pm and enough time to spend with friends and family. In that respect India lags far behind.
Humble observation- Most of us who leave home tend to live in the past... I mean in reference to our homeland, our memories are of the times we used to live in... one forgets that just the way we have changed and moved on, our place of birth too has changed and so have the people.
The magnitude of chenge is way beyond expectations. India is changing faster then anyone can imagine..
