Dudes,
I have been here for 4 years. Life is certainly good and quality of life is also OK.
In Metro's traffic jams might be there but then which city in NA does not have it? You go in an AC car in bumper to bumper traffic.

I leave late from the office. Mostly at 7-8pm. I reach my house in just 15 mins.

Stop seeing India as it was 20 year back. You will only be losers if you see it that way (not that I care anyways)

I just bought a 5 acre farming land in rural town in gujarat for my retirement plan

- i'm born farmer and always like farms...

not sure if i'm moving right now cause my kids are still in school and i still have to achieve some goals ...

but for sure my retirement will be in india - i will build nice small ground floor bungalow without stairs so i can walk in straight in old age

rest of the land i'm going to use as farming flowers business so i will have some income as well as i will be busy , especially varieties of Rose flowers ...

NOTE: If you have desire to move back to your country and by chance you are not able to move right now then go with this idea.... rural area is still cheaper to get farming land... at least u will have door open in future

Just a reminder, a non Farmer cannot buy agricultural land, especially foreigners.
