By the way, the above guy in the story didn't know how to manage well, and probably isn't living in today's world full of gadgets. Heck, you even have a robotic vacuum that does all the cleaning by itself - even in your absence. You could buy it from your local Costco. Even the weekend chores are shared by men in today's world. That too HAPPILY. I wanted to pitch in the keyword as this post is about happiness and accomplishment

The conversations in the internet forums are always like the ones in real life. Due to the fact that the real people are involved - despite of the pseudonyms. Ever wonder, when in real life you meet a group of people or friends and start talking? How in 2 hours time you may have touched various aspects, from real politicking, girls (yes, I do talk about them , jokes, family, kids, education, India (big on the list), world, etc.?

The same applies in the internet forums. Digression is healthy, in my view. As long as it steers in the right direction and everyone's happy . To me, it's the stress buster.

I didn't question the care of the kids. That is always paramount. Even if Dad stays home, they have to put their best foot forward for the kids.

Just pointed out the chores that most of the people do it once a week on the weekends anyway.

I think it's too much deviation. I will steer clear of any further discussion on this topic and stick to the original one. Thanks.

I am not sure about other man but i cant handle kids 24/7 ... but yes i like to play / hangout / eat together but daily chore - i'm dead man

it was long when one day my wife wanted to start working full-time and she left kids with me , i remember it was saturday so no school.. man or man that was a day i still remember... i took kids in car , straight to wife work and bring her back it was so funny

since then i told my wife to work only during their school time : ) : )

So yes i strongly believe , Mom is very much needed for kids ... Man should take care of outside and women should handle inside house....

i also learn that we should never poke our nose in their style of work , consider in the house women is Queen,,,, just obey and your life become beautiful and smooth

Again, that doesn't mean i don't love my kids , i send my family India alone for month but i miss them so much i had to ask my wife to cut the travel to 2 weeks

CONCLUSION : So women is queen of the house - respect !!!

You don't have to trade being a good mom if you are working .... You d perhaps be a working good mom... that's all........... Lots of moms are like that here as well as every part of the world and there's no trend to prove that their children are less loved or less successful or less happy.

It is perhaps a self derived and self satisfying comfort level at best !
