Just got this on whatsapp
Govt. should introduce same time high value Penalties too and repeated offence lead to suspend the license or similar kind of things.
Otherwise high income and business persons doesn't care to pay little Penalties and keep using same vehicle for everyday uses. for sure they are not going to care if monthly offence charges are little bit and affordable than all hassles.
If Govt is setting minimal Penalties than believe me it will be a big fiasco for govt as well as for nice step against fight with pollution.
all the best to all Delhi peoples....

. This Guy's a loser all the way for 2 reasons - One for asking a dowry 'khulley aam', and two for the above reasons.
Look at this. Coming soon to Delhi and other Metropolitans, if it remains unstoppable:
"Beijing smog ‘red alert’ issued: Schools and businesses to completely shut down as Chinese capital issues first ever extreme warning"

Delhi probably does not have infrastructure of public transport to support this formula. In main Metro stations like Rajiv Chowk, you do not even have to actively board the train, just stand there in the platform, flood of people behind you will make you automatically board the train.
As far as buses are concerned, how many extra buses can they bring?
Good thing is at least some steps are being taken.
Another issue is dust. Trees have brown leaves, brown because there is a thick layer of dust over them.

Agree. Infrastructure will be a problem. Let's see how successful this will be. I really doubt considering current public transport. However noticed some of Delhites are really serious and willing to support this initiative. It is for their families and children. Car pooling seems to be best option. Support each other in your locality, office etc. Do it now before it is too late
