True....as mentioned by Delhite, they have plans in place....though this one is the quickest out of all those.

Good thing is that people in Delhi are getting more positive towards this.

I agree, completely. But, another aspect is that the above measures could be implemented at the same time with odd-even formula - kills two birds with one stone. It's aggressive, but the heck! If it's gotta done, it's gotta be done.

People in Delhi are positive about what ever the AAP Govt is doing towards better administration and running of Delhi since they have seen others and sincerely believe in AAP.

Good governance & administration is a very possible thing if there is a will and intent ... There's a lot of manpower which comes with population ..

But the intent should be there to utilize this effectively .... Unfortunately any one and almost every one who is in power lacks this intent and things about filling his own pockets ...

I sincerely hope that NaMo and AK are different ... ABB was and he made a difference !!

The pollution level of Delhi is like a time bomb now. See the picture of lung of a local and an outsider in this article below

Any attempt to curb the pollution should be acceptable.

We all take bitter pills when in need , sometimes thrice a day. Its Delhi's turn to do so.
Any other govt would have avoided such not so popular decision caring for votes in future but this one cared only for health of Delhi.

Karo yaa Maro.

I hope this scheme actually works - but looks like it is already been designed to fail.

With the citizen's support, it should work...
If it doesn't we already know that the central govt did not cooperate.

Happy New Year guys - have a peaceful and safe 2016!

It's a bitter pill. Regardless of the politicians' intentions, public has to gulp it down, either with the black clouds of dirty fumes or some inconvenience to their day to day lives. The alternative is to move out to some smaller town, but the give away is the career and job prospects.

Question is will this encourage corporates to move out of big cities and go to smaller ones. it should ! If only Govt starts to take interest in 'development' of smaller towns and bring airports, premier colleges and other amenties to lure corporate houses to set shop in open spaces. Thats how Gurgaon was built.
