How much money I have to take to CANADA ? (we are 4 people)

Is it possbile to get a job before arriving there in CANADA?

Is international Driving Licence given in India is valid there?

Is it good if I come along with my family members? or I shall be first and later family members, which one do you suggest out of your experience?

If I come with my family members.I have to join my first son in school. Will it be acceptable or possible If I come there in the month of October / November. Does he get admission at that time, into which class? And his age is 6years

I need a rented house that is near by to the most indians are staying before arriving there in toronto or any place? Initially It will help me, there to adjust myself to that environment?)

Suppose If I join my son in one school at my temperory location and after getting job could I shift him from that school to the place of my employment. Is it possible?

I need urgently this information does anybody gives higly grateful.

Ask Immigration Expert must be used for Immigration Laws related questions and not for moving and settling in Canada related questions.

The questions you asked can be answered by anybody who is already in Canada. As this board is here for a while, we have number of times answered your questions. It should be easy for you to post such questions instead of searching the board, but such repeatation is not good and often dilutes the quality of this site.

Please look for information yourself.

-- As per rules, CIC immi has given you one letter in which they mentioned the amount. Thats sufficient.

Is it possbile to get a job before arriving there in CANADA?
-- NO, its not possible. You need SIN card and You have to apply for SIN card after arriving here and they issue within 3 weeks of applying.

Is international Driving Licence given in India is valid there?
-- Dont waste money on International Driveing licence. Toronto has very good public transport system.

-- Come first you alone.

-- You can come any time, there is no problem of school admission for your son.

-- Yes its possible and its very very simple procedure for transfer from one school to another. Dont worry about any matter of Schooling.
