Has anyone sponsored their parents-in-law from India in the early years of marriage ( less than 5yrs) ? I think it is not easy to adjust in a new country in old age (60+) - any thoughts?
First of all, as I understand, you cannot sponsor parents-in-law for permanant immi.
You can put up the file only for your own dependent parents. A spouse can be a co-sponsor if the applicant does not have enough income to qualify.
Old people do get bored to the climatic conditions and no easy access to places for socialization. But some oldies become active in no time and start getting used to the western way of life.............
