Hi Scorpio
If I knew this, I would have had a flourishing export business in canada by now

We will find a way or we will make one
Bring Sattoo.. there seems to be a high demand for that in CD at the moment

Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.
There are few items which you can carry and sell them in Toronto market. Can't say that you can get the full re-imbursement but atleast some of that. Items like printed cushion covers, with or without embroidary (can see easily in some Mela on a stall), bed sheets, some handi crafts like Puppets, artificial jewellary, cig. pipes, stone rings, cotton kurtas, stuff from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Maclodganj or any other place where lot of gora tourists visit, cotton cloth paintings etc.etc.
You can find the market easily in downtown Toronto (Queen street, King street, Yonge Street, Eglinton)if you want to wholesale them to Gora shopkeepers or can also sell them on a stall in some ID mela or Diwali mela.
Hope this helps!

Has anyone actually dabbed into selling indian handicrafts? esp. to shops on yonge street?
I have serious doubt if they will be willing to even buy at half the rate you paid in India.......but if anyone has tried let us know
