I have a simple question and one that can be best answered by my desi friends in Dubai / Abudhabi.

I am planning to stop in Abudhabi in february and travel by road to Dubai for a day. What is the cost involved and how far or long does it take.

You can take airport taxi and it will charge 250-300 AED (75 - 90 USD) and journey time is one and half hour or less (distance 165 km.) approx. You can rent a car as well @ 75 - 100 AED / day from the airport. Some airlines has free bus ride from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, e.g. Singapore Air Lines.
Cheapest way, take a taxi to reach Abudhabi bus stand and take a bus or share a taxi, maximum AED 30 per head.

Ah Thanks. I guess sharing a taxi is better,

As New guy said it will cost you only 5 AED to reach from airport to Abu dhabi bust stand by City bus. Then from abu dhabi bus stand it will cost you 20 AED to reach duabi bus stand by Al Ghazal bus(mini bus ).
