Dear Friends,

I am in Canada on a Temporaray Resident Visa (TRV) on business. My stay is going to expire in a weeks time. In the mean time, my company has already applied for work permit under the IT accelerated mode.
Does the immigration law, permits me to stay beyond the expiry date until I receive the result/outcome of my work permit.

I am aware the law permits to stay until the result of the application if it had been a case of extension of the TRV visa. But I am not sure whether I can stay back until the result of the application of my work permit.

All your comments and suggestions are much awaited.
