Hi All,

About 8 months back, last fall I received a job offer from a Fortune 500 company, Got TN for myself and my family but I neither I moved to USA nor joined the company.
However the TN (I-94) is still affixed to my passport and has an expiry date until Mid 2015.
Never visited US after securing the TN1.

Should I return the TN I-94 immediately or just before it expires or as I enter US for shopping.

Any one gone through this situation. I don't have any intention of moving to USA for next 2-3 years.

In reality, none of the options you have mentioned matters. However, if you do enter the US for shopping, you could (or rather should since their computer will pick up your status as TN) mention that you received a TN that you never used and never started employment with the TN sponsor. They might send you to secondary inspection to cancel your TN and remove your I-94.

The same happened to my friend. When he was visiting US recently they cancelled his & his family's TN status when he told them that he is working in Toronto.

That is the right thing to do particularly to avoid complications when you apply for TN next time.

Can someone advise in what forms can one work on TN in the US and what is the difference

viz

a. C2C
b. W2
c. Salary
d. Any other

And what are basic difference between them ...
