I have started getting mails in the new address. Canada Post takes action. The Mail was not delayed at all.

Few years back one of my friend moved out and I moved into that appartment. My friend did gave a change of address .. well in advance. Strange, but true, I even received his credit card bills on his old address - I received those even after some 2-3 months.

I hope, since in Canada you have to PAY for change of address, you won't have to face such situation.

As said, there is nothing like free lunch

Didn't your friend know that to be on the safe side, he should go online/call and change address for his Bank accounts ,Credit Cards, Electricity and Phone companies.
I suggest everyone who moves should pay attention to this for safety reasons.The address change given at the post office should be for the general mail.
