PR and workPermit at the same time - any problems ?

Hi,
I am on work-permit since last 1 year and had applied for PR around 6 months back.
And Now I have applied for the work permit extension ~2 months back through my present employer.

Would there be any effect on my work-permit extension application because of my PR application ?As I haven't informed CIC about PR as I don't want to disclose that to my present employer.Please advice what to do ?

nope, one has nothing to do with the other...

but you should still have listed in the wp application that you have applied for pr.. they will check anyway because its part of the process to check before an extension is given..

having a pr in process has no impact on wp and vice versa...
