Not too long ago, we had a contributor going by the pseudonym the Entrepreneur (real name as posted on the board - Lachman Balani). He also posted as Makapao76, then his split personality came out as ‘Desimisri’. At times, he also pictured himself as an Arab woman (Dubaidesie), posting messages to himself on the board.

Why do I get the feeling he’s back……….or has he been around all along?:D

First of all I express my thanks to Canadian Desi team to enable me to rejoin this discussion since I started it. I appreciate their gesture. Now to all my friends who disagree with me I respect your point of views but I expect the same from all of you too. Let us agree to disagree. It is natural and healthy for a real fair and free discussion. You cannot insult anyone just because that person has a different opinion about an issue. Please refrain from making personal remarks and I promise to abide by that too.

Now for all my friends who agree that we must combine to make a difference in our lives in Canada, I request you to kindly write a paragraph each about two things:a) What do you think the Federal Govt of Canada should do more for easing the settlement process and life of immigrants? and b)What more should we immigrants could have done to be able to be accepted by the employers or the system as a whole? Please give a fair and non-biased argument.

You may post it here or even( or if you think) send me an email to But all of you please do think practically and give me this input. It will be better if you can quote real statistics or give concrete real life true examples. I will be obliged to receive your valuable inputs.

Since I am working on making a memorandum for fellow immigrants to be submitted to the Federal Govt in Ottawa for necessary action, all your inputs will be helpful for me and all of us. As the first step we will all jointly sign this memorandum and submit it. Can you imagine what difference it will make? So arise and join the memorandum writing process.

Regards
Puru

And I thought I was the only supporter of this crusade.
