Yes, one CD friend Krishna wrote here asking for permission to publish it in Swadesh,a gujarati newspaper. I posted the go ahead message to him. I am also waiting for his response.

This is exactly how people behave when they don't have any valid arguments.
As far as going for an interview and speaking in Marathi is concerned, I think u cud also try your luck with Telegu, Tamil, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Haryanvi, Punjabi, Konkani.......the list is endless. I hope u r supporting the memorandum - you really need it.....
Ajit Adhopia fought against racial discrimination which is a social cause and his efforts need to be applauded. He never fought for jobs. Any which ways, asking for job reservation is inviting racial discrimination back in a different way. Mr. Adhopia wud never have asked for preferential treatment because he was an Indian. He wud have just wanted to be treated without discrimination - period.

Sure you might be discussing with the media people but your champions from the press r not coming forward with anything in the public domain. Probably they might be "boosting your morale" with private messages. No wonder from Toronto Star and TD the focus has now shifted to Swadesh.

I would suggest you to give more emphasis on discussing something more relevant than just using other people's statements and trying to put your views full of disregard and sarcastic comments.
As regards Toronto Star, the least said the better. The Indian media is much better in bringing out issues and bashing the government whenever required. But you seem to have no respect for anything Swadeshi and its surprising even after 58 years of the end of colonization. So lets leave it there.
We are not discussing India here. Why do you have to bring up India and try to belittle everything Indian?? India never unashamedly boasts to be the best country in the world to live in.
Anyway by belittling India or Indians you can never absolve Canada of the fact that it has a disgusting system here for immigrants.Even the Candian Government knows and acknowledge this fact. Nobody needs a certificate from you. Who told you I need "canadian media" to create mass awareness? The internet is more powerful and effective than these local newspapers to create mass awareness. So friend, please be patient. No one is in a hurry here. It is a long way to go.
It is not even two months and you are desperate to see the results. Give some more time before everyone comes to know the decades old bad immigration system of Canada.

I just asked for the objectives of the memorandum. Is that irrelevant ? If that is so, then the memorandum (without objectives) automatically becomes irrelevant.

Oh yeah... then why were u crying hoarse when Toronto Star stopped publishing immigrant related articles. I remember your "shame on Toronto Star" post. Just by disagreeing with u does not make me anti Swadeshi and I don't need to prove my patriotism to anybody.

U r right. I never discussed India in this post. How can India boast of being the best when it is not. Canada never boasts of being the best country to live in - its the independent surveys which rate it as the BEST.

Angoor thode khattey hain. I presume initially u went to the canadian media and its only when they gave u the cold shoulder did the swadeshi newspaper gain importance. Yeah yeah we are very patient folks. I am in no hurry to see this campaign go "phooosss".
I guess I would have to wait till eternity for the objectives of the memorandum.
