This is the first time I am reading Mr. Rasool's story in detail. It is very interesting and totally opposite of my own life in Canada.

It is the habit of many people on this website to indulge in making fun of people & taking the post on to a totally different track.

Maybe that is the reason why so many people don't post regularly.

Dear Nostradamus,

I went thru' your posts and kind of agree with your point of view that immigrants need to be positive in their attitude and action. We should at least give it our best shot. We should not land in Canada thinking we wud necessarily end up in labour job or that we would not be able to find a job that we want. True its not going to be a bed of roses, but we do need optimism and positive attitude here.

The very idea of filing a memorandum to the Government is the result of purely "optimism" and "positive attitude". It could not have come from people with negative and pessimist ideas and a loser's mentality. It speaks about the enthusiasm and strong will power to struggle and strive for better existence.

The difference is that while some people use these qualities for individual interests, there are some who channelise them for collective interests. Both are correct. Everyone has different ways of doing things. Hence nobody should blame nobody as long as the desired results aim to be good and suit their life purpose.
