Shouldn't this qualify under hit and run case ?

Either way, they left the Automobile hanging in this case too ? Such a ....

Just a quick thought, Liability is the major portion of the premium and the comprehensive might just be about $20 - $30 more for most of the <$ 20,000 vehicles. I didn't have the comprehensive when I owned a old vehicle but looking at such incidents, might be a good idea to give a second thought as the Automobile guys are... you know....

There is something called Uninsured Motorist coverage in US which my friends claim when they run into similar situation. Sorry about not being able to answer your question directly but check the Uninsured motorist thing with your insurance.

I checked my insurance and the terminology of uninsured motorist coverage. I am actually paying for it. However it covers injuries to the passengers caused by hit and runs cases and damage to the automobile caused by an identified person with no or limited insurance coverage.

Obviously the insurance pays if the occupants are injured by a hit and run driver who we may or maynot identify. To claim any sort of damage to the car it is claimable only if we identify the person and if he is uninsured or if he is under insured.

What happend in your case for a Hit & Run Case at Walmart you had experienced. Did you have to pay from your pocket to fix the car or insurance company paid you.
Thanks for the feedback

Nari,
I did not do anything. I just left the dent as it is (as well as another major dent in the front of the vehicle).
I am just hoping that some one would crash into the same dents and pay from their insurance to repair it.
Considering the Kms that I am putting daily in my car (230 kms a day, 7 days a week), I will have to most likely junk my car in a year.
