We had offered to provide free of cost service for applications for 2 people last week and were going to inform the people who had won this Friday. I am surprised we only received one resume mech engineer. (we will do that person anyway-His resume will be out to 1,500 companies by Early next week)

I thought we had a lot of IT and other people looking for jobs on this site. If you are in IT we can have your resume to over 1,500 companies by next week. Visit us at weapplyforyou.com (www.weapplyforyou.com) if you have any questions

Again : THERE WILL BE NO COST AND NO OBLIGATION. The only request will be to share your experiences with others if you choose to do so.

We will pick 2 people who have been looking for job for some time out of a draw. We will have 2 catagories. One for IT/Electrical and the other person needs to be Mechanical Engineeer (In manufacturing - even though that segment is hurting at this time).

I will call them personlly next week friday and lets see what happens.

Email to and say you heard on about us on CD. Pleae make sure you say that as we get a lot of resumes.

This is from" Tried to Help" discussion.

Are there any Cd's that have used your services?

Thanks.

Well, that's a great start to market your business. I hope there are candidates (hard to believe there would be none) that take advantage of this offer and provide us all of candid feedback.

Hi,

Will all 1500 jobs that you send the resume to, be in the field of IT/Electrical and Mechanical Engineering? Are there job openings in these companies? Or are they unsolicted applications? Are the same 1500 companies being used over and over again for each of your clients>? Are these companies all in the local area?

Thanks.

Will all 1500 jobs that you send the resume to, be in the field of IT/Electrical and Mechanical Engineering?

No, These some of the catagogries ( there are 70 other catagories )

Engineering Sector
Telecom/Electronics Industry ( 1700 companies )
Software/IT Industry (16000 companies)
Aerospace and Defense Industry ( 300 companies)
Automation and Machine building Industry (1400 companies)
Engineering Consulting Companies ( 200 companies )
Oil and Gas Industry (500 companies )
Chemical Sector ( 400 companies )
Utilties and Power sector ( 700 Comanies )
Automotive Parts ( 500 companies)
Plastics Mfg ( 1200 companies )
Pharma Mfg ( 400 companies )
Biotech Labs and research ( 800 Companies )
Companies in Calgary/Edmonton ( 800 companies )
Ontario Manufacturing ( 1000 companies )
Large companies in BC ( 200 companies ) etc.................

Each person selects different catagories that fit his background and needs best. ALL OF THE LISTS ARE DIFFERENT

Are there job openings in these companies?

Average 10 percent have published opneings. But when we apply we are surprised that most people are called for unpublished jobs also. This process opens us the hidden job market also and they also consider you for internal job postings if you send your resume this way.

Or are they unsolicted applications?

We make sure we sent to compaies that have job openings. But we apply to companies that are in your field. So if the job opens up next week we are first in line as the all companies keep it on file for 6 months (average). As you know we also have a guarntee. If you for any reason you do not get anything in 6 months (has not happened yet with anyone). We will resend your resume again to the 1000+ companies. This way if that any of the companies have an opening in the next 6 months. YOUR RESUME WILL BE IN THEIR FILES for 1 year period.

Are the same 1500 companies being used over and over again for each of your clients>?

We have several catalories within each so most like IT is software, ottawa software, accoss canada software, etc... We do customize it as per client needs.

Are these companies all in the local area?

Our databases are country wide and we have regional databses for provinces ( we also do US applications- they are customized to the cliens needs) but we can choose to be very specific say companies in Alberta or just GTA etc... We work with the clients to apply where they want to.

Eg: We are gong people from BC who want to apply to the oil and gas sector in Alberta. So we are applying to specific catagoie that they want only in Alberta.

Another expample is we are doing a lost of people from GTA who have requested that we only apply for IT jobs in GTA, kitchner waterloo or Ottawa for them.

Again each client is different and needs are differnent.

As I said from the begining its the heardest to convince immigrants even though you know we can help them. After last weeks challenge we said we would do it for free for some people so they could see the benefits of this way of reaching out to companies by applying to 1000 companies. . Got excited and wrote the email when multiple emails started to come but only 3-4 people sent in thier details.

We will be doing all of them for free. NOT just 2 as I had earlier mentioned.

Wish you all the best. All I want to say is keep trying. If you ever want advice on how to get to where you want send us your credentials and we will discuss it with you email us at

I was having a discussion with a person who we had helped recently. He had been in a senior job in India (delhi) (big company) came with the kids. For 3 years working in a small job and was doing part time another job to pay the bills. When he started with us and he was making arround 30-40K (and was not happy with canada) new job, senior position 73K now. Asked him the same question I asked everyone at CD and he said desi's will not believe you unless someone recommends you.

Can you tell me the reason you why you have selected only Mech/Elec. Eng or IT resumes for your free offer?

I want a break in the financial sector? Would you do mime as a part of your promotional offer?

And you sure have found a new way now to promote your services on CD.
All the best.
