My daytime goes off in applying for jobs in my profession as well as survival jobs.I have a track of when and where my resume was sent or personally dropped.I assume, if you are not in then your resume will fall (shredded) in the trash bin.
Just wondering, Can there be any chances of Identity Theft with just name and contact details?
Thanks,
Shriya.

you may be someone to the world but for someone you are the world.
Here is article http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art30990.asp
that talks about resumes online.
I would caution against putting any personal information on your resume such as age, ethnicity, SIN, credit information etc. Employers do not need this information at the point of application.
It sounds like online posted resumes are more at risk than faxed/emailed resumes.
