Regarding health care, I am sure that my child will not be covered until PR is granted.

Going one step ahead....

When the PR of my US born child is approved, I assume I need to go to US border and then enter Canada.... FOR THIS I WILL NEED US VISA.... IS THIS CORRECT.... OR CAN you go directly to US Canada border ( Canada side) and complete formalities....

Want to plan if I need to take US visa well in advance....
