Come & visit here (take as many weeks leave possible), but don't leave your job. Then decide yourself.

hi,
I think that it is best that your friend and his wife come to canada and stay here for some time ..of course while on leave and then decide whether to come dowm permanently or not.
There is no point counting other peoples firm yes or no.
Proof of the pudding lies in eating it.

Dear all,
Thanks a lot for all the answers. As some of you suggested it is his and his family's decision ultimately. I thought and still think that your replies would help him in assessing the situation by himself and take a more realistic call.
Thanks once again for your time..

Things to consider before coming canada1.suitability and present job or business back home.i suggest not to come if you are well with sizable income in india2.abilty to live in cold weather3.able to live in indegenous and different culture4.able to cope with one partner income, either husband or wife may not get good job,if both working care of children.after landing considering above facts, your friend can try to settle.so ultimate decission depend on the individual becos factors for job are age, gender or sex and weightlifting capacity.i think every person in canada is like vip-very important person in home country also vip here as canada has problems ofv-variation in temp,i-interview-they call you but you may not selected for job,p-personal problems which include culture difference, love etc.i met families lived here for more than thirty years still went back to india.anyway, best of luck!

If you think that is a dog's bark, please stay away. If it means "You are Welcome" to you, then it is your fate.

Dear

When you have to take decision then dont think as "SOCH GAHRI HO TO IRADE BADAL JAATE HAIN" so if you think a lot you will end up with nothing. I hope you have considered everything, planned as Haphazardly managed decisions usually turn out badly. Yes few will say yes and few will say no, but if you check database you will see almost 200,000 people or more relocating canada every year, they know there is tax, they know the climate is extremely cold, they know they have to start everything from scratch, they know there is no turn back, still people move or relocate. So consider one more time and then read all these forms in CD's and fly........our best wishes are with you. I am relocating in the m/o july (me, wife and daughter) lets see how things work out.

best regards

Hi all,
My friend did land in Edmonton, Alberta in the first week of August, found a contract job in two weeks time in his field @16 $ per hour and seem very happy with his move. He now wants to bring his wife in Oct itself as otherwise it might jeoparadise the school admission etc. Please tell me if this is a decent money to run a family of three, wife might hopefully pick up a job once she lands. How long ppl work like this? what is the security for these jobs.
Please share if you have any thoughts on this.
Regards
