Anyways, thanks for the information.
Some of these guys still have the voice they had in the past. I recently attended Asha Bhosle's concert. She is 75. But her voice is the same as it was in the past. She even danced to her tune of "Cha, Cha, Cha...."
I would not say the same about Lata. Lata has started loosing her voice long-time ago. But Asha has the same voice she had for years. I did not feel any difference in the voice she had in the past and what I heard last week.
I am not sure about Manna Dey. But whatever it is, it cannot be bad. I believe, he still does performances because Eye on Asia said he was coming with his troops. i wish there was a concert rather than free performance.
If I am correct, Manna Dey visited Toronto last year and presented his program in Etobicoke. this program was organized by some Gujarati group with some local singers. Did any body attend it? If yes, how was his performance. Lata has started loosing her voice but Asha is still fabulous. Listing Manna Dey live itself is a life time memory.

Was manna Dey in Toronto last year? I missed it. Didn't know he was here.
Just want to go down a memory lane without talking about his concert. My favourite song of Manna Day is 'Kaun aya mere man ke dwarey, payal ki jhankar liye'...
Another one is 'Yeh raat bheegi bheegi'. Wow!!!
Damn good man! Noone else could have sung these songs with such a nostalgic magic.
Dear Music Lovers
We were fortunate to listen to Manna Dey when he was in Toronto last year.
He loses out on "breath" sometimes due to age. Otherwise, what a memorable performance it was - what variety, what rendition, impeccable expression and above all divine melody.
We try to attend lot of programmes - people talk, move, leave early etc. Here it was almost midnight, not a soul moved, people were asking for more....
In a touching finale, he sang "AYE MERE PYARA WATAN, AYE MERE BICHRE CHAMAN, TUJHKO DIL QURBAN" We had tears in our eyes....
Words fail to describe that evening's experience.

Best regards
