Hi cmfugen,

While others will give there input on How to...
I just wish to add, the salary of 'The Maid' could be around the same per hour (In INR) as it used to be per month in those good old days back home.

I am not familiar with how to bring a domestic over to assist with childcare, but I just wanted to let you know that if you contacted an immigration consultant or called Immigration ..they are called "nanny or nannies" or "domestic help".

Saying "maid" is misleading..at least in the canadian context.

"maid" is also a derogatory term sometimes.

Just FYI.

You probably need to go through the live in caregiver program

Have been through the link- here it says that the caregiver must have completed grade 12 at least! Which maid/nanny at least in India would have completed this?
My childrens nanny is a Filipino can read/write but has not completed grade 12. How can I bring her here?
