Hello,
I need to know where did I stay for last 10 years! Dont laugh... lol.
Before immigrating to Canada about 5 yrs ago, a lot of effort was put to document all those addresses, and now I am missing that information. Almost every year, I stayed at different location in different countries before moving to Canada. Is there any way to contact government to obtain that information? If any of you has the contact number or some pointer of how to get that information, that will be great.
This information is needed to fill in the security clearance application.

If these were addresses outside of North America, check if want an exact address or maybe just the city/town etc. I had to got thru a similar exercise for my security clearance, and they did accept just the city & country.
Would you not have any payslips, lease agreements, old letters etc with your address.
Not to go off topic, but one of the sections in my form was Name, address, DoB & Employer of every single immediate relative (brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, father and mother) of myself and my spouse. Now that was an exercise

Yes, these addresses were outside of North America, and exact address is needed. Form can be saved by providing just city/country, but I am told that this just helps in delaying things. A friend of mine provided exact details, and got his 'secret' clearance within 2 weeks! Others got in 2 months, or even in 9 months!
And actually, getting relatives' details was easier for me.
As a solution to get my details, I have initiated contact with 'Access to Information and Privacy Co-ordinator' and got useful pointers to get all the information I need.
