Just wanted to inform all members who are unaware .
OHIP does cover an emergency hospital stay overnight (upto 330$/night ).
If someone has to incurr any chrages ( god forbid ) during their visit to India OHIP reimburses every cent ..
So it pays paying taxes ...

Does OHIP pays only for "Emergencies" are other issues. Minor surgeries or some other which are generally covered here.
How does the reimbursement works. Does the hospital need to be recognized by canadian govt or any hospital with valid reciepts?
Is there any site where all these details are avaialable.
