I Need some expert advice!
I landed way back in 1997. had to complete my degree, so went back to US after getting my SIN and driver's licence. I Came back and worked as a self employed cconsultant while my kids stayed in school in US as I was goping back and forth to US on assignments. My kids spent there holidays here. I Filed my taxes here. Now my kids are here for good and are in schools here and we want to file for PR cards. Will it be a problem for my kids to get PR cards because of residency requirements?
If it will be a problem, how can it be taken care of.
if they've been in Canada for two years during the past five years, they'll be eligible for their PR cards.

Thank you very much for your response, Masood.
They are about a 100 days short of the 730 days in the last 5 years. Should I wait till they accumulate these days? would their absence in the years before the last 5 years be an issue, too??
best to wait 100 days. They will get their PR card then
