Dear all CDs

Its been nearly three months since we landed in Canada and we havn't received our PR cards. Only one person can, but the rest of the three of us are still waiting. Now they are saying that our photos are not right, and we have to personally go and a photo done again.

Now the problem is, we came back to Australia and are not planning to go back there for a while. What should we do now in order to get our PR cards?

I believe, You don't need to personally come for photos.
You can shoot photos as per their specifications in Australia and send them to someone (of your family) in Canada and they can mail them again (locally) to immigration.
Correct me why this is not possible for you.
If you are planning to return in reasonable time, and you don't have you PR card then you can apply for Temporary Resident Visa at Canadian embassy in Australia. This way you will be able to re-enter without PR card.

Thanks Jigz and Pratickm for your valuable reply. I am waiting my friend to scan the letter came from CIC to find out the actual requirement but as he stated CIC asked us to personally go there to provide the new photos.

It will be easy for us to send the new photos to our friend, and he can mail these to CIC office.

Is this possible for us to re-enter Canada on Visa Waver scheme and once we enter there we can supply them new photo or go their office for new photo.
