All the best to you guys on making this meet happen after a long long time.
If I get time, I will just drop in for a few minutes to "Hi"(probably around 8:30 pm on my way home from office).
Also you may want to consider the fact that it gets really dark at 8:30 pm. So even if all of you assemble at 7:30 pm , you may just have one hour to chat which will be very less considering the fact that we are all Desi's and would love to talk. Does the park have lighting (artificial)?
Also the forecast is Rain and cold. So having shelter in the park / jackets becomes essential.

Delhi girl is going to the park today to find out about the shelter..will update asap on that front.

If nyone has some suuggestions....pl. feel free.

On my way home I was also considering : rain forecast and getting dark. Specially we may not be able to reach before 7.30 anyways.

Whereever you meet, remember to wear full sleeves/pants and cover yourself as much as possible. The mosquitoes are pretty nasty this year - I cam back with atleast 15 really 'irritating' bites from Credit Valley park this weekend - even under my shirt. I am still scratching most of them. Imagine the irritation for kids..

If mosquitoe repellent creams are effective (I never used before), dont forget them and apply in plenty.

They are very bad especially after 6.30pm and near food items.

Just want to know if there is any particular reason to arrange this get-together at Friday evening? On Friday weather forecast is not very encouraging and we will not get much time to enjoy as we will have around one hour maximum.
In my opinion Saturday day time would have been a better choice, it will be sunny and we will have more time to enjoy. … just my 2 cents..

If everybody is OK with Friday thn certainly I will try to join you guys.

Thanx Hiren for the advice on those naughty nd nasty creatures.

The reason of keeping FRI was sum people working on the weekend.

But keeping weather/mosquitos and time constraint in mind.....how does SAT evening 5:30 sounds.Even those who r working will be free in the eve.If most of us are OK with sat we will switch over.
