My wife is in canada since last 6 months, she has PR and was just waiting me to join her there, but I have got a refusal letter from CIC islamabad. They say that our marriage is not geniune, on the basis of they caught a little mistake that I kept hidden my wife's first marriage to them by making a note and signed as well, because of social problems. But at the time of my wife's immigration interview (before our marrige) when she had her first marriage she just told in her interview about her marital status.
The problem is that my wife has to undergo with surgery on 14 april, 2004. and no one is there to support or assist her during that period. And now she is willing to apeal and fight the case but the problem is time limit and I got the impression that the apeal process takes at least 4 months. I want to ask you people to help me out by giving your valuable comments and advises regarding this case, and how can we expedite our case in this situation. I would be gratefull to you

Personally, I think in your case you should actually "hire" a lawyer to represent you, since the matter is serious. My two cents.
