Can originator of a thread delete all the posts in that thread?
If he/she deletes the starting post in the thread, all posts in that thread get deleted?

When I deleted the original post, the whole thread was deleted, so I think it works

This is what happened!!
But now I changed the code and only moderators can delete the posts.
