who are the top 5 realtors for buying a home/condo in GTA?

Hello CD's,

We purchased our first home in Mississauga and would like to know names of any good real estate lawyers that we can use for closing. Also, we presently live in Toronto. Would it be feasible using a lawyer from Mississauga, or would Toronto be more convenient?

Fido, Please don't just go to the cheapest lawyer. I would definitely suggest getting a referral from a real estate agent, or talking to a couple of lawyers. You don't just want the cheapest price, but also some degree of assurance that the individual is doing their job as a real estate lawyer (there's a lot of spots where they can cut corners).

Personally, I wouldn't pay less than $1000. If you are paying less than that, then you are sacrificing service, and that may come back to haunt you in the future. With legal work, you get out what you pay for the services, so the less you pay, the more services you sacrifice
