why so much trouble guys
if any problem in finding ordinary job in ON...then better move to Saskatchewan.
i am sure you will find something within week to survive(retail jobs etc)...
no need to ask any govt help.
once you settled...then it is easy to find job in your own field.
many south asians doing this...so many Desi's(without jobs) from montreal/toronto coming to SK everyday.
this is a myth that SK is very cold...if you can survive toronto winter...then definitely you can survive SK winter too.
I am saying this as per my experience.

~ Morning rain
Let me tell you about this person, who was staying in Toronto who lost his job due to lockout of company in Toronto. So, he applied for job in SK and he got a good offer of $5000/- and they helped in relocation also. He went happily winding up here and joined the organisation. The treatment which made him cry and then he was thrown out of job within 3 months.
1. he was made to sit alone in corner during lunchtime and nobody would talk to him. He was made to feel lonely, inspite of his cordiality and friendliness.
2. after his using microven, they would clean microven and talk softly and laugh at him.
3. Though he was good at work, they would give wrong reports that he is not good at work and his accent is poor etc.
4. when called in a party, he would not be allowed to say cheers and touch the glass.
5. they would all be together in all function and since he is black in colour he would be left alone and they would look at him as if he is a dirt.
All these behaviour make him come and cry at home. He is a very strong person that is why he did not leave job and made them throw him out of job in 3 months time.
How many of us would have tolerated such treatment for 3 months?

Just curious: Gopalpai........ how do you happen to meet the most unhappy souls on this planet?
How is it that every time there is racism, intolerance or something untoward, people run to you, to cry their hearts out?
Surely you must be something!
May be 'MGUPTA' can share his views
I suppose he is in SK for long time
Even if few things what 'gopalpai' mention is TRUE, are you surprised with this
It can happen in any part of Canada
FINALLY we are IMMIGRANTS in Canada
Don't expect GREAT ! treatment as we are guest here.
