I want to ask my fellow CDs when you go for writing Citizenship test. Do we require to have both IMM1000 and IMM5292?

What is the differnce between IMM1000 and IMM5292?

Also, Is the citizenship test on computer, OR they give a test booklet, OR we have a test booklet and and OCR answersheet, OR is oral?

Do we require to take our own pen and/or pencils or do they provide there?

An early reply will be highly appreciated as my friend is going to write exam tommorow.

thanks.

Happy :)

IMM1000 is an older document (prior to the days of PR Card and COPR) and is not issued any longer.
The IMM5292 (COPR) replaces the IMM1000.
However, if you happen to have both, you should take both documents.
Essentially, all document related to your original PR immigration should be carried.

The IMM1000 used to be issued to landed immigrants prior to the PR Card.
Folks who landed prior to early 2004 have the IMM1000.
Since sometime middle of 2004 (don't recall exact date) the IMM1000 was replaced by the IMM5292 and the PR Card.
Now landing immigrants receive both the 5292 and the PR Card.

I can't be 100% certain, but most centers I've heard of have computer scannable answer sheet.
I haven't heard of computerized test, but it's possible.

They'll provide special pencils (SB I believe).
