We are set to fly to Dubai. Hotel booked, tours arranged. Need some info:

1. Good place to shop in Dubai. Not expensive one. Mainly jackets/clothing, gift items, etc.
2. Any local customs to follow not to offend the locals
3. How long it takes to get the visa (for canadian passport) after landing?

1. Dera Dubai or Par Dubai markets are good for shopping, better than big malls where you will get brands.

2. You will find most of resident desis so don't worry.

3. For Canadian passport one month visa will be stamped on arrival, so no time required.

You can go to carrefour.Its pretty reasonable and you get everything there.I used to love that place.
