hi all,
I will be travelling with my wife and child to India next month. Could you please recommend a good, safe and reliable taxi company for travel from Mississauga to airport? Do they have child seats in taxis? How much is the average fare from Square one area to airport?

All taxis are safe and good. Call All Star or Blue Cab in mississauga. They have fixed rate taxi. From 401 and Mavis to Airport All Star charged me $40 for a van as I had 6 suit cases which will not fit in a non van taxi. When you call them tell them you want fixed rate taxi to Airport.
and when u book taxi u can tell them u need a car seat n tell them which one, rear or front facing....
Not sure how old are your kids. But if they are toddlers / kindergaten kids you can have them sit on your lap and use seat belts too.
If i have to got to the airport i usually use TTC as my luggage has wheels.
Reach Kipling station from any part of the city and take 192 from there. Fast reliable and a bus almost every 10minutes (no service between 2am to 5am).
Understand some people with kids/family may not like public transport but for others its the best service and not crowded..
The cost of going to the airport from my area is the same if I use a car service or Taxi. You could call a car service as they have nice clean town cars, offer a comfy ride and the cost at least in my experience is the same. As for car seats, we were told that in a taxi, one doesn't legally require a car seat but we requested one anyway.
