Dear CDs,
Arrived back home to India this morning with three suitcases and a backpack. Had to buy a new suitcase in Canada as things to bring was too much, last minute shopping, etc. Customs was a breeze through. Saw only one officer who was looking at the roof, like hey prabhu yeh kaisa night shift hai! I could have carried couple of gold bricks on my head without being noticed by him.
It was a strange feeling at the airport when leaving. Excitement of returning to India, at the same time leaving the country after 12 years of stay that shaped my future, the country that taught us lot of things. But the excitement of returning superceded everything. Shared my excitement with the desi couple next to me who thought I was joking that I was returning back to India.
Having good time with family, emptied the contents in the suitcases, with the kids help. Condo in Canada will be closed next week and the money will be deposited in the bank by my lawyer as all the paperwork is taken care off. Looked at a car this evening, will go for it if the price is right.

First night after moving back, good night sleep. A new day starts. Will look at the car again. If the home minister agress, will buy it.
Nice! your posts simply excude the happiness and excitement...i think the Hyundai i20 or the VW Polo are good small cars.
Where in India did you guys relocate to?..we landed in Bangalore (still very new to us)
