Are you the person who posted a similar message few days ago, but now posting with different ID?

One way to figure out is to take a long leave of absence from your current job, come on PR in Canada, look around for 1-2 month and then go back if things do not look favourable.

In any case, manufacturing sector is on decline in Canada. Also, May 2011 is too early to expect a complete economic recovery. You can try your luck in provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan or New Foundland. Or come to Canada, survive for 3 years and then move down South.

For engineers, supply normally exceeds the demand. The job availability is dependent upon the economic scenario as well as your luck - being in right place at right time. So if you are ready to take chance and come with no expectations and be ready to go back, yes by all means try your luck.

Thanks
Loser, cmanyam and meghal,
for your valuable advise.

Yes I heard "DOOR KAY DHOL SOHANAY HOTE HAIN"

funny part of my decision is that when I was in India, I always wished to move to canada.
I needed money for survival and immigration processes so I switched to gulf. Now I understand I can't make more money in CANADA.

Can I live a better life?

As here in GULF (I am afraid) I think I have became used to this life, and for sure I do not wish to retire and go back home (India) and live with strangers.

Loser,

Thanks for this great "IDEA". You know I heard an incident where doctor declared that one of his patient is going to die within few months. Declared sick guy spend his savings to all type of fun. later it was found that doctor's advice was false, it was a mistake.

Any way thanks
