hi desi's...me and family moved to our own home at Milton this week, can you folks let me know what you do for garbage sorting (blue bin/green bin/garbage bags) for typical desi family
the booklet I received from Halton waste management seems to be too confusing (moving from condo, got used to throwing anything/everything over the chute)
&
also what to do with the diapers???
GREEN=ORGANIC (anything the earthworm can convert into dirt- leftover foods, coffee filters, teabags, food peels, eggshells, tissue paper, kitchen napkins). DIAPERS

BLUE bags/Recycle bin : Anything made of paper, cardboard, glass items, tin items

GARBAGE: Anything that is NOT ORGANIC and non-recyclable or don't know whether its organic or recyclable.
Batteries, Computer parts , paints, leftover fireworks and other chemical substances should be disposed off according to the rules on the website.
Welcome to recyling and doing your bit for earth

Even better reduce the use of plastic bags. Get the reusable grocery store bags.
