When did feedbacks by Australian officials became a standard of success measurement. If we don't care about their criticism, we shouldn't care about their applaud either, IMO. We are a better judge of our own performance.
Since the statement comes from a politicians, I think there might be some ulterior motive for his utterances, not to mention that VVS had them eat a crow in an unrelated event.

Australian hostility towards India is not a new phenomenon.
As of writing this message, India already has 10 Golds..24 medals in total.
