England - six matches so far in the WC, all gone to the wire..The most entertaining team of the tournament.

England played better cricket than India in this WC. They defeated all bigger teams and in crunch situation. India defeated all minnows and lost ( yes lost to eng too ) to all bigger teams.
Australia, - ! theoretically , practically, playfully and above all mindfully !!!
It will be sheer luck not ability if India, SA, Eng or PAk reaches Final. All these teams are weak minded , gets demotivated after losing, chokes, captains feel pressure, commit basic mistakes ! Cricket is MIND game and Australia does it well when comes to thinking (negative and positive thinking). Thats for me is deciding factor in long tournaments.
Btw Australia being a bad loser is a positve factor for them. Its in their minds that losing is unacceptable, they feel uneasyness. This factor drives each team member's psychy and they look n play more motivated in adverse conditions. Where as other goody goody teams call it a game in which one wins one looses.
This factor we saw in west indies in 70s, we saw it in pakistan many a times and they won many matches with this psyche. India been winning against Pakistan in WCs with same psyche. Even NZ plays much better against australia due to same reason. End of the day adrenaline matters !
As a loyal Indian fan ... my prediction is an Indian win this world cup ....
After they beat New Zealand in quarter, Australia in semi final and defeat South Africa (revenge match!!) in final, they will win the cup !!!!!

This one is a no brainer ..... Sachin has scored 33 centuries in matches that India has won and he has only 13 times scored a ton and India has lost and most of these losses have been close encounters like the South Africa match !!!!!

Even in those 13 matches, it is to be seen whether is it really because of him that India lost? I highly suspect as he's an opener. When he scores his century there are other 8 come after him to finish the job (expected from them). If the rest 8 and the bowlers don't do their job and the match is lost (just like with SA last week) then it's neither his or his century's fault. The same is true for the 13 matches that India lost.
One can't finger point Sachin when he gave the game so much. I am sure he can still play exceptionally well for another 10 years.
I miss Dravid and Kumble real bad in the present tournament. Dravid was slow but he always made sure to rotate the strike and exceptional in taking singles and doubles, while fitting in some boundaries in between. That's the key.
Unless Dhoni come out of the cocoon of his arrogance, India has a very slim chance to even reach the finals. Let's wait and watch.
