you are talking about timelines post citizenship while i have been using end-to-end numbers.
nothing wrong with your timelines claim, probably but we can't say that pre-citizenship timeline is immaterial to the discussion.

my only point is for a skilled worker living in India today who qualifies for both canadian PR as well as a US h-1b, canada immgration route is faster today for his parents' immigration, all else being equal (i.e. no change in govt. policy on either side of the border).

and also that canadian immigration has been the faster route historically for parents immigration - end to end.

i did not bring up the G20 summit, someone else did.
