As long as Sachin is around we have to call the team "Rest of Ten". Also never knew that Sachin's father was Ramesh. Thanks for the information.
Thanks for appointing me as BCCI Chief. People speaking the truth also seem to have a life in this planet.
Since Badrinath has not done well and has been dropped, we have to tag Sachin to another player currently not performing (but never Ravindra Jadeja or Rohit Sharma, they are future Sachins if at all there is a contingency that Sachin couldn't play any further), ask why that player has not performed every time Sachin fails and hitch hike his career till the that player is dropped.
The other day the commentator was telling Tiwari got a century in the last ODI he played, but still couldn't find a place even in a non-decider game.

There are more important issues for the nation like poverty, corruption, terrorism, black money etc. To create illusion as if cricket is the most important, is the opiate that the government and BCCI gives through the media.

Thanks for excluding Ramesh and Tiwari from such ignominy.
Not only players from other games like hockey, soccer, volley ball etc., to name a few are feeling neglected, even the "educated" middle class have also started realizing how monstrous cricket has become.
Cricket is also antonym to other Olympic events like athletics,swimming etc, making our youth couch potatoes.
Once incident we can quote as example is the lathi-charging of educated youth at Bangalore, when they stood in the queue to buy IPL tickets. The tickets had already gone to the rich and famous. This is only a symptom and was not the same about 25 years ago.
May be you have left the shores long ago, you do not know and do not realise. But it is high time that we wake up and wean away our future generation from cricket.
