Apples to apples
W Raman played a total of 11 tests in his short uneventfull career and scored a total of 448 runs.
Sachin Tendulkar in his last 11 tests has scored 700+ runs.
Half dead Sachin in twice a crickter than all tha Ramesh's and Raman's put together.

oops..you forgot to add Raman, Ramesh, Rajni...It is so obivious from your posts that you want grade B players from your state to get more praise than the one who is sitting at such a height that these players cannot even dream of...isn;t it sycophancy from your side for these non-achievers. If Kapil would havee been sitting on top you would have done the same thing...
Oops you have to mention Raman, Ramesh etc., every time to show Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar in beter light.
It is you people are comparing them against Sachin Ramesh Tendulakar although he has played or made to play more no. of tests.
If at all Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar has to be compared, you have to do that against the English and Aussies who recently scored 100, double and triple hundred against Dhoni's side and against the same opponents, Tendulkar came cropper.
Now after missing out on all these matches, where he could have and should have matched innings by innings and century for century to prove his greatness, coming down to the sub-continent, scoring 114 off 147 balls on a batting track against B grade Bangladesh side and make India lose the match, then feeling content and happy sitting alongside the Ambanis for his felicitation, laughing and giggling.
All that really takes a champion and lion's heart.

So at least now you are kind of agreeing that there is no other better cricket player in India (even in south) than Sachin that is why you are looking at Aussies and Brits. So from now on I guess the discussion would be more repititive. Because Putto had precisely gave you the facts and figures and Sachin's performance compared to rest of the world...but still since you decided not to look at it there is no point in convincing you. It is easy to wake a genuinly sleeping person but it is impossible to the one who is either pretending or dead.
