If the last 5 games are only going to be criterion, then Sachin should have been down and out long ago. He has had many such 5 games. Do not have the time or inclination to go into such statistics for negative purposes.
Again if W.V. Raman or Praveen Amre or Ramesh or anybody, can be dropped on the basis of bad performances, why not Sachin. At that time you do cry "Other Ten".
May be people like Raman, Badritnath, Amre or Ramesh did not have "paid up" press and video coverage, that they have to make the exit.
Otherwise, they too might have had an extended run.
One good thing about the debate is the "outpouring of love and affection" regarding anything TN, contrary to the concern expressed for betterment of something "touted" to represent India.
With a long coastline of 1000 kilometers, we are not land locked and with a history and civilization of several 1000 years, we can get along without anyone's help.
If you are sowing the seeds, definitely you will make the harvest.

Yep that is the problem...when you consider TN seprate from India, how would you find player from any other state rising. I hope there are only a few of your mentatlity in India/TN.

Another statement without any facts or basis ..... Till now you have not shown this "bad performance" you keep talking about.

Now these are actual records ..... even at this age Tendulakar has scored twice as much as Raman scored in all his playing life.
In almost every series played by India, Sachin Tendulkar has finished the series being in the top three highest run scorers for India.
In the just concluded Ranji Trophy ..... S Badrinath was not even in the top three players for Tamil Nadu !!!!!!
As I mentioned on the first page... He was wanting to do his 100th ton..
and now he says he has no more dreams to chase...
