Yes --ICAS would evaluate a 3 years Indian degree as a 3 years Ontario degree.

Just out of curiosity,
I have 4 year BE degree from India, do I need to get it certified in order to apply to any B school(In Canada or US) or to get TN Visa.
It is always recommended to plug one possibility of delay or refusal .
The equivalency that these institutions do is valid for life.

A degree evaluation will likely be required but it also depends on school/course.

ICAS asks for reason for evaluation. If you state it is for work in US, they will evaluate Indian 3 year Bachelor's degree to be equivalent to Associate Degree (US) + one year addition study at university level.
If you state purpose is education/work in Ontario, they will evaluate it to be equivalent of 3 year college degree in Ontario. ICAS is quite slow, could take 4 months but it also depends on the college/university admission season rush!

Hi Raj C ~ Did you get an evaluation done from ICAS for TN (or known someone who did) and was given the US Associate degree + 1 year assessment ?
Why I ask this is because I told them the reason as TN and they gave the equivalency as 3 years Ontario degree plus Ontario Masters for the Masters.
By the way , we got the ICAS reports for me and my spouse in 60 days.

Fido, I know someone who went through the process.
Also for you they should have given a US equivalency if that was the intended purpose of evaluation, not sure why they have given you a Canadian equivalency (Ontario).
