sponsorship evaluation or financial evaluation form
I am just married and sponsoring my wife from India. I have not sponsored or cosigned any other application should I fill Sponsorship Evaluation Form ( IMM 5481) or ask for Financial Evaluation form ( IMM 5482). We have no dependents.

I have applied for spousal sponsorship on April 1'2004 and your case is exact similar to mine. Today itself I have received a letter from CIC Missisauga where sponsorship is granted and they have forwarded my wife's file to New Delhi.

I have sponsored my grandfather before and his sponsorship is still under effect then also while sponsoring a spouse I just filled sponsorship evaluation form (IMM5481) and not Financial evaluation form.

I would say that you just need to fill sponsorhip evaluation form IMM5481 and do not fill Financial evaluation form.
