Hm... You seem to have lot of spare time. Must have retired with a good pension plan. My thoughts are always preoccupied with juggling credit card debt. Anyway, I found your copy/paste job nice enough. Now if you are claiming that this is your original work, then you should start a new "secular" religion. I offer to be your first disciple.

Writing requires passion and drive and not necessarily be retired with good pension plan (although that would be nice too).

Spare time is what one creates. I work full time and travel globally, yet finally managed to pen a fiction after 8 months of writing during late nights. Now, I am working on copy editing using guidelines subscribed through someone that lives in BC. Copy editing has turned out to be more challenging than the writing itself.

Specific to this topic, I am not sure what the OP meant to convey. The contents appear segmented. Maybe he/she could have elaborated on each of the contents.

I agree with you, Dimple2001. Good luck with your work of Fiction.

I myself have been trying to start writing, though without any fruition thus far. Writing is the passion for me as well. Currently, going through some ideas.

To the OP: Good attempt. However, as Dimple pointed out above, the write-up is marred by the lack of in-depth analysis. Incorporate more scenarios, engaging initiations, and punch lines. Talking as a Reader's point of view.

Lol! Copy/paste job does not require much time. What you guys termed as "lack of in-depth" analysis, I presumed to be a poor copy/paste job. I concede I might be wrong. I am really happy to know that CD members are passionate about writing. It requires a good deal of command over language, hard work, passion, time commitment and above all creativity. I certainly lack that. My best wishes to you guys. I would like to add that I like reading. I would be happy to read your work. So you guys should let all CD members know when you publish it. Though I am a man of very limited means, I would buy it if I can afford it.

The OP has mentioned that he has published a booklet, not a book. So we should except it to be terse and somewhat segmented.

However, the booklet itself sucks. It is an awful and a lame attempt at philosophy. Sorry, my 2 naya paisa.

Thank you.

Quite honestly, I have been attempting to write for the past four or five years. In all cases, I lost steam after just a few pages. Then I realized I needed to have a complete framework - storyboarding as they call it in animation movie production - in order to achieve a decent success. Finally, I was able to get one through.

In any case, as I said before, copy editing has been the challenge. When I subjected my manuscript through the copy editing, I realized how much improvement the writing required. There were too many dialog tags, overused words/phrases. Also, I learned several obscure grammar rules by researching through the internet for grammar...who has ever heard of the Oxford comma :)

If and when I get to it, I plan on publishing through Amazon's Createspace (a self publishing mechanism).

Well, good luck to you as well.
