there need to happen many things for improvement in standard of living like
population control
skills development or good education for youth
job creation
safety and security for common people etc.
In a democratic world, it is not easy to stay in power for 3 terms and continue.
Opposition will have too much dough unless the ruling people are very unconscious about this and meticulously task oriented. Anyway, it is always good to get some fresh air after some time.
I would like India to prosper as well - not 5, 10, or 15 degrees, but by 360 and leaps and bounds.
Rahul too thinks the same way. When it is 360, the direction is very much the same.

MMS Third Press Conference in 10 Years
At the outset, we realized that we had an octogenarian PM, not only weak, not only suffering from heart problems, but also likely a cerebral stroke. Going by the slur and slowness speech, and if we had any doubt, on what he uttered on Narendra Modi.
The PM Mr. Manmohan said that “It will be disastrous for Modi to become the PM of India because he presided over the massacre of innocent citizens on the streets of Ahmadabad.
If that be so, did Shehzada’s father urgently took over as PM in 1984 (without being even MLA or MP) to preside over the pogrom on innocent people from the Sikh community?
Or did Shehzada’s own grandmother “presided” over the Jamshedpur and other riots in the 70s that killed hundreds of innocent citizens?
The PM of a country of over a billion speaks in such an irresponsible manner overlooking the many investigating agencies’ final reports on the 2002 Gujarat riots, about the Chief Minister of a State elected not once or twice, but for a 3rd consecutive term.
CM of a state of 6 crore population having 36 MPs and 233 MLAs presiding over "massacre"?!
If the PM thinks about a CM likewise, what will be the respect shown to a petty consular official from India by an outside country?
All this, the PM naively thinks will catapult the Shehzada to the post of Prime Minister. Or had Shehzada’s mother instructed the PM to parrot such words thinking her son would be benefited by such a propaganda.
On the contrary, because of this “historic” press conference, BJP is definitely assured of the 36 MP seats from Gujarat and a majority of the 200 seats in the North.

Poor guy MMS. Whatever it is ... he is loyal to the party. Unfortunately he didn't have required energy levels/able people and environment to make good things for the country. He just managed.
He needs rest now from politics ... and do other things in life. Also congress should take a break from ruling the country for two terms to rejuvenate country growth ...... that's what going to happen soon.
Yesterday it was very doubly unfortunate for Rahul Gandhi. First that his lieutenant Sashi Tharoor lost his spouse and the second was that the first event had overshadowed the much publicized and the much built up Rahul's participation in a CWC Meet at Talkotara Stadium. His voice resembled the late R.D.Burman though his sycophants said that they could hear Rajiv Gandhi.
In fact, right from the morning all the 4 major english news channels Times Now, CNN-IBN, NDTV and Headlines Today were roped in and stand in full attendance for the Meet. Viewers and people would like to know whether they were paid 100, 50, 25,25 crores respectively or what was the ratio?
These days it is not Coverage for the sake of News, but the other way about. For Rahul's hardly half an hour speech in the late afternoon, the whole all these 4 channels were asked to wait on the Meet from morning till sunset.
In between, people like Mani Shankar Aiyer were asked to do some antics to keep the viewers in good spirits. He did oblige his bosses by coming on camera and stating that Modi should sell tea outside the CWC Meet and that he can never become PM.
Mani Shankar Aiyer does not realise that it is because of people like him who visit that his native district Mayuram in Tamil Nadu the district frequently has severe water and agriculture crisis. Believe that the Gods residing in 1000 year old temples in that district become really angry! There seems to be no end to his sycophancy of a particular family for his own personal benefit than the common good of the entire India.
Mani Shankar Aiyer says that Modi does not know history, geography, economics etc. What was the use in having a doctorate scholar knowing all these during the last 9.5 years, but who was not sincere neither to his post nor to the country.
There was this story about Henry Ford asked to appear before a court judge and was asked a simple question. He seems to have replied that he accepted that he was not educated but has hired the best people who at the press of a switch would stand in front of him and give him all the right answers.
We can say the same for Narendra Modi. All we need is honest, hardworking people.
