But the interesting questions, where did Nestle touch the raw nerve.

If source of lead in Maggi is agricultural, like wheat flour or onion powder, it becomes a very serious issue then like are onions in India safe? Is wheat flour and everything made from it safe?

Instead of testing Maggi noodles , they should perform tests on long time and frequent consumers !!
Singapore allows Maggie to be sold in Singapore as tests indicated that it was not harmful.
Yesterday nestle stock was 7.3 % down. Maggie is just 1 % of nestle's sales it seems.
Today Nestle stock was 5.5 % up due to Singapore allowing maggie to be sold.

Good news for all of you who will wake up on the 4th of July.
More relief for Nestle's Maggi noodles. Following the United Kingdom, another country with major Indian origin population – Canada found Maggi noodles, imported from India, to be safe for human consumption. Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a statement announcing its findings on the India-made instant noodles. - Rediffmail.com
Enjoy. Just as a precaution, use only 1/2 the tastemaker plus put in your own masala's.
I used to enjoy my noodles when I used to work in an industrial estate in Kitchener. Their kitchen was very well stocked with lot of juices / teas / coffee's. I used to have a nice maggie noodles at 11:00 am and at 3:00 pm.
In India, I have no need, as if I just step out of my office I have various options (though oily, fried options of eating).

Maggi has been given a shot in the arm ... Bombay High Court in India has directed a number of leading food labs to test the noodles again and lift the ban ...
Convenience gradually will supersede health consciousness in the Indian populace ( as it generally does )

Fido.
Different labs are using different methods and they have not been able to agree to a standard method. Government labs tested the raw tastemaker and raw noodles finding high levels of lead in tastemaker. Maggi itself was testing the prepared cooked product, so when you add water naturally the concentration of lead comes down. Since lead is measured in parts per million, so volume of product and water plays a key role in the results.
